Applications Are Now Open

The Valton Trust is pleased to announce the opening of its Community Wellbeing Fund for 2025. This annual grant programme supports organisations working to improve mental health, social connection, and quality of life for people in underserved communities. Applications are now being accepted, with a closing date of 30 June 2025.

About the Fund

The Community Wellbeing Fund was established to address gaps in statutory provision by supporting grassroots and voluntary organisations delivering direct wellbeing services. The fund recognises that wellbeing is shaped by many factors — housing security, social networks, access to green space, financial resilience, and more — and welcomes applications that take a holistic view of community health.

What We Are Funding

This round, the fund is particularly interested in projects that:

  • Reduce social isolation among older adults or young people not in employment, education, or training
  • Provide mental health support in community (non-clinical) settings
  • Improve access to physical activity or outdoor experiences for people facing barriers
  • Build financial capability and resilience in low-income households
  • Support carers, including those caring for people with long-term conditions or disabilities

We are open to a wide range of project types, including direct delivery, peer support models, and capacity-building initiatives that strengthen the local ecosystem of support.
